Measuring frame slow to boot up.

Hi.
One of our MF5R1 measuring frames seems reluctant to start up, and can take over 60 minutes to join the network, although once it does eventually start up, it works ok.
When we initially power the system up the lane monitor shows the calibration details from the frame, but then this stays on screen, with no target showing. While this is going on, the measuring frame isn’t viewable via the network test in Shootmaster.
When the frame eventually connects to the network, carrying out a network test shows that Device Type “ESTMf5” is missing from the device type list, when comparing the frame to those working normally.

The linked screen grab shows the results of the network test. The frame in question has the IP address 192.168.11.4

Hello,

can you please make the named measuring frame the plug out back and clean? Then clean the contact of the connector if necessary.
When you turn on the system, pay attention to the fact that the server is first started (fully powered up). Then switch on the measuring frames and start the tablets approximately after 2 minutes / at ESTA5 / switch on the stand computers for CPCs.

Also an update can help here.

Take a look at it, and get back to it.

Best regards
Mario

After checking over the network I resorted to basic maintenance and cleaned the measuring frame and the problem disappeared :)

Hello,

I am glad to hear that. Then I do not wish you much success.

Best regards
