Quite frequently (nearly every time) when we start our system we get a Blue Screen on one or more monitors. The lanes appear normal during boot up with no error messages. Addition:

Further investigation has revealed that the scanner appears to have a ROM fault and that was the reason it wasn't working. We shall acquire a replacement and see how that goes.

That’s what we thought. I think it may be an issue in the boot sequence that results in the PC not recognising the device. We shall look into it.
